Are you looking for a fun, challenging small group weight training class in Grand Rapids? If big fitness classes make you uncomfortable, if you’ve ever felt overlooked by a trainer, or if you’re worried about fitting in with the pros at big box gyms, Phoenix Barbell Class is perfect for you! 

We keep class sizes SMALL (think 10 people or less!) so everyone gets lots of personalized instruction from one of our NASM certified trainers.  Our methodology combines powerlifting and functional fitness through 8-12 week cycles focused on building strength, power, and stability both in and out of the gym.  

Unlike other classes, we keep detailed records to ensure your gains and help you reach your full potential.  

Barbell Class is designed for all fitness levels, even if you’ve never picked up a barbell.
